Who We Are.
We are the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
We are a community of religious women who live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in contemplation and in missionary service, according to the charism of our foundress Blessed Mary Catherine Troiani following in the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi, and in faithfulness of Holy Mother Church.
We are committed to live with Christ in an intense relationship of prayer, giving of ourselves and going out as he did to our sisters and brothers in a simple life of poverty, service, and minority, like Mother Mary Catherine.
We are committed to the work of evangelization and human development, particularly in the mission world but also in all nations. We serve in apostolic activities, social and health services, education, vocations and youth ministry, and according to local needs.

Mother M. Catherine was beatified by Pope John Paul II on April 14, 1985.
